Not Pre-calling your visitors and contractors is the number one problem that creates backups and frustration at our gates. Please remember to call in our guests on the Pre-call system 482-6998. The Pre-call system is a voice recording computer that allows residents to call in their guests and vendors without having to speak to the guards. This allows the guards to focus on who’s actually entering to community when visitors arrive. If your home number is registered with Suitor & Associates in the gatehouse software you will not be prompted for your PIN number. However, if you call from another phone that is not registered in the computer system it will prompt you for your PIN number. This is how the PIN number system works… If your home phone number, or cell phone number, is caller ID enabled (not blocked), and if your number is active in the gatehouse computer software (this is managed by Suitor and Associates) you won’t need a PIN number to use the Voice Server. If you happen to call from a phone that is not entered in the gatehouse software, Ie: someone else’s home or cell phone, or from up north, you must have that PIN number to use the Voice Server. Each resident has been provided with a PIN number (which is a random number assigned by the gatehouse software) in the last year since we started using this system. If you do not remember you PIN number, have lost your PIN or have any questions regarding the voice server, please call Suitor & Associates at 239-437-4306 or email michellepacitto@comcast.net. If you have renters in your unit, or have someone else that needs access to your PIN (i.e. Realtor), it is your responsibility to pass the PIN on to them – we will only release PIN numbers to owners. When you call the voice server at 239-482-6998 it will either: - prompt you for the PIN number or - if it does not prompt you, it is because the phone number you are calling from is registered with the gatehouse software. (you can ask Suitor to enter more than one phone number in our gatehouse software file) Once you are connected to the voice server via one of the methods above, you may obtain either a 1 or 3 day pass for your guest by following the prompts and leaving their name on the recording. PLEASE LEAVE ONLY ONE NAME AT A TIME ON THE RECORDING as the system cannot process several names at once. DO NOT CALL MORE THAN 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE! The system requires that you call the Voice Server within 24 hours of your guest’s arrival as the software ignores information outside of that time period. Please note that it is your responsibility as a resident to call in any guests and vendors that are not on your Permanent Access List – any guest that is not on your Permanent List or called in, may be turned away at the gate. Due to large volumes of traffic the guards may not always be able to call you if an unannounced guest arrives and the guest may then be turned away. It is very important that the guards have a way to reach you and/or your residence so please make sure that your phone number is registered with the gate (contact Suitor & Associates). Also note that the guardhouses are unable to call long-distance numbers. |
