New & Used Cars & Replacement Tags

Buying a New or Used Car? - When residents bring another unregistered vehicle down from the north, or purchase a new or used vehicle it is essential that you notify one of the guards and/or Suitor & Associates about your need for a new access tag. The process is the same, you will need to fill-out a vehicle pre-registration form (available for printing here on-line) and pay the $25.00 per tag fee for the unregistered vehicle(s), and send it to Suitor & Associates for processing.  Since each tag has to be registered in our computer system, you would do yourself a favor if you notify Suitor & Associates a couple days in advance so the tag is ready when you arrive with your new vehicle.  If you're selling or trading in a vehicle with an access tag on it, please destroy it and or call Suitor & Associates to request it's deactivation immediately. 

Remember, the 3"x5" access tags are actually an small antennae with a coded signal that identifies your vehicle(s). The tags are not to be removed and may not function if you try to move them from one vehicle to another. The code on the tag only identifies the vehicle it is initially affixed to (and you as the owner. Therefore, tags should not be relocated or tampered unless you are selling that vehicle.  After the initial installation, if a tag is damaged or fails to work or for any reason, it must be replaced at a cost of $25.00 per tag.  All request for new tags must be processed by Suitor & Associates 765--0356
